Hallmark will always be associated with keeping human communication alive  through greeting cards. In spite of other more technologically-advanced ways of sending greetings, Hallmark greeting cards will always be part of any season for expressing human emotions like this upcoming Valentine’s Day. This February 14, the Hallmark and Jam 88.3 Valentine Fair will take place at Robinsons Magnolia Grounds. It promises to be an exciting event not only for lovers but for families and friends as well. It does not only provide a chance to send your warm messages to your loved ones through cards but also presents that wonderful opportunity to spend a night of music with them.

Hallmark Facts

Hallmark  is the largest manufacturer of greeting cards in the United States. It was founded in 1910 by Joyce Hall and was formerly known as Hall Brothers. It was the very first company to recognize Valentine’s Day and its early years was marked by the popular sale of Valentine and Christmas cards. It eventually adopted the name Hallmark in 1954 although they started printing the company name at the back of every card as early as 1928.

The slogan “When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best” was first used in 1944 and is still being used at present. The company’s product line includes greeting cards, gifts, flowers, keepsake ornaments, books, stationery, and frames, among others.

My Say

Hallmark continues to show its relevance in human  existence as it continues to reinvent its products to go with the times. Sending greeting cards may be seen as an old-fashioned practice by some but obviously, it will still be with us for a long time yet, if not forever. Hallmark Greeting Cards will never fade just like human expressions of love will never do.

Have a different Valentine’s Day this year by joining the Hallmark and Jam 88.3 Valentine Fair at Robinsons Magnolia Grounds at 4 pm. on February 14.
