In yesterday’s Breakfast Chao Fan Media Launch, Chowking Brand, Retail and Channels Director Cham Go shared that the reason why they came up with their line of Breakfast Meals is to provide Filipinos more reason to wake up excited by looking forward to having a special breakfast. The people behind Chowking are hoping that this will create a ripple effect in customers in not missing out on the most important meal of the day thereby creating a positive tone for the rest of the day. They would love to see those smiles as customers step inside their store in anticipation of the hearty food they are about to partake.
Development of Chowking Meals
One of Chowking’s resident chefs shared the interesting fact that every meal they offer is developed for about 9-12 months before they can find their way into the selling area. This shows just how serious they are in making sure that they come up with the best products to offer to the public. Their Chowking Breakfast Meals are the latest in this line of development.
For Starters…
Upon seating down, I was immediately given a plate of chicharap to munch on and a glass of pineapple juice to chase my thirst away, really quite a refreshing treat after going through such heavy traffic (which as usual had no rhyme or reason after successfully passing through it, besides from having too many vehicles on the road perhaps). I was expecting to have a taste of the breakfast meal launched by Chowking but I wasn’t prepared for what was actually served to us. Consider this.
The Star of the Chowking Breakfast Meals
Five female food servers went to the front and announced that food is about to be served. Of course, the star of the launch is the Chowking Breakfast Chao Fan line. In no time, all of us were served the Pork Chao Fan with Siomai and Egg.
The chef shared that Pork Chao Fan with Egg only is likewise being offered. Since siomai has always been an all-time favorite, I certainly didn’t mind being served siomai. Before I was halfway through eating it, the next food offering was served.
The Newest Breakfast Meal
It was the turn of 5 male food servers to announce Chowking’s newest Breakfast Meal, the Chinese Pork Longganisa which boasts of the taste of authentic Taiwanese sausage. It is the latest addition to the classic breakfast favorites including Beef Tapa, Pork Tocino , and the King’s Special, a breakfast meal truly fit for a king with its satisfying servings of Beef Tapa, Chinese Pork Longganisa, Fried Rice, and Fried Egg.
…And All the Rest Followed
We were also served the well-loved and flavorful Chinese-Style Fried Chicken, the meaty, steaming hot Meaty Wonton Mami, and the perfect grab-and-go meal, Chunky Asado Siopao. It is good to know that these products are very affordable. This is precisely what Chowking wants as it continually tries to give diners food offerings that are not only filling and delicious but are also real value-for-money.
This “Menu for Today” should give you an idea just how much stomach-filling yesterday morning was. As if my food experience with Chowking yesterday wasn’t enough, my husband surprised me with a Chowking Breakfast Meal this morning. So now I know why he said I need not go with him to bring the kids to school. He said that would give me additional sleep before we attend our son’s activity in school so please excuse my morning face. That thought is greatly appreciated since I woke up very early to prepare the kids’ breakfast and baon but so is his surprise. Wow Morning everyone!
