Ambos Panaderia

Ambos Panaderia is a chip off the old block that is Ambos Mundos, a restaurant that has permanently carved its name in the Philippine culinary scene. Like Ambos Mundos Restaurant, Ambos Panaderia delights in making seemingly ordinary food extraordinary. While the restaurant remains known for Filipino food favorites like Tapa, Adobo, and Torta, the panaderia reinvents bakery all-time choices like the pandesal, ensaymada, and cheese rolls.

It is heartwarming to know that many people still remember Ambos Mundos Restaurant. These people are not only those who actually dined in the restaurant but there are also those who heard it from their parents and grandparents. Ambos Mundos will be back soon now that the claim of the trade name’s rightful owner has been recognized. While its comeback is on the works, customers can indulge themselves with bread treats from Ambos Panaderia, a brainchild of a 4th generation member of the clan that founded the Ambos Mundos Restaurant.

The good ol’ pandesal has never been this pretty and fun to eat. Ube cheese, Pandan ube, Double Choco, Strawberry Cream Cheese, and Bavarian complete the array of flavors in a box. You can order in assorted or single flavors.

A bread of Spanish origin, the Ensaymada has established its popularity as a Filipino merienda. Ambos ensaymadas are not only topped in buttercream and grated cheese but also filled with delectable fillings. Flavor variants include original cheese, oreo, bibingka,and ube.

Heavenly soft and fluffy, cheese rolls come in classic cheese, ube, assorted fruits ( Strawberry,Mango, Blueberry), and assorted savory meat (Adobo, Tuna, Bacon). This is the acknowledged bestseller by far.

Not to be outdone is Ambos Panaderia’s banana loaf series comprised of Banana Plain (taste of which is definitely far from plain), Banana Choco with a generous dose of choco chips, and Banana Walnut, just perfect for walnut lovers out there.

My Say

Ambos Panaderia is just getting started and will definitely add more baked delights in the coming months. It will pave the way for Ambos Mundos Restaurant’s comeback which is restrategizing as it re-enters the food business in an all-together different business landscape dictated by the times. Ambos breads will definitely make the wait worth it.
